How about chocolate?
Who doesn’t love chocolate? I do not know anyone who would say no to good chocolate. We all know chocolate can be good for you if you choose it wisely.
So for chocolate lovers, here are some chocolate brands you can feel good about. They are minimally processed with clean ingredients. You should find them on the shelves at the supermarket or health food store.
Green & Black Organic Dark 70% & 85%
This one will probably convert milk chocolate lovers to the dark side! It’s made with fairtrade cocoa beans and you won’t believe either of these has a such a big percentage. This is thanks to Madagascan vanilla, which provides a smooth texture and sweet flavour.
It is paired with nutty notes, hints of freshly roasted coffee and a bit of cherry. It is definitely the best option for someone who is trying to swap from milk chocolate to dark but isn’t used to the bitterness of typical super dark chocolate.
Lindt 85% and 90% Dark
One of the more reasonably priced quality dark chocolates on the market. Lindt’s 85% variety has just 2.2g of sugar per 20g serving. It has an intense flavour, is super satisfying and hard to go overboard with. Very unlikely you will eat the whole block!
You can start with the more fruity one with 70% of cocoa in case you find the higher percentage bit robust.
BSKT vegan chocolate bar
Handcrafted in the Gold Coast, the combo of West African cocoa and cocoa butter, organic coconut sugar, and natural vanilla creates creaminess and the perfect balance of bittersweet.
Vegan and free from dairy, soy, gluten and with no added sugar, Pana Chocolate does the raw at it’s best. There are some funky flavours like pineapple and ginger, fig and wild orange!
Definitely worth a try even with the price being bit higher.
As the Ombar team say, ‘cacao is incredible, why on earth would you roast away all the goodness?’ Its chocolate is made from Ecuadorian cacao beans dried in the sunshine and nibs ground to a silky smooth paste. It is absolutely delicious!
The Raw chocolate co.
All vanilla and cocoa ingredients are fair trade, organic, vegan and processed as little as possible. Flavours range from ginger & lemon to salted banoffee hazelnut. Their chocolate coated goji berries, raisins and almond are yummy as well!
Chocolate and Love
This British company offers a wide range of organic, fair trade chocolate bars, all of it which taste amazing. I absolutely love how they pack their chocolate in jazzy colours to match the great taste!
So if you are a chocoholic or just like to enjoy a bit now and then, these are the ones you should go for. They are healthy, tasty and will definitely satisfy your taste buds.
